I’m pretty tired from playing as hard as I work

It’s been over three weeks since I cut my safety net. I don’t regret it for a second, but I still can’t get over the fact that I no longer have to work on Saturdays. When Fridays come and people ask me what I’ll be doing on the weekend, my first instinct is to respond, “NOT WORKING!” I don’t say it aloud often, but when I do, you can be sure it’s in motherfuckin’ caps.

With summer approaching (Fingers crossed!), I plan to do all I can to make the most of it. It’s such a change of pace from last year when I was just a big ball of doubt and dread. These days, I’m in a much better place. Hooray for change of scenery!

Speaking of change of scenery, Teh Boyfriend and I are working on some exciting travelling plans. We didn’t get to go away last year, but now that things are a little more predictable, we can safely consider hopping on a plane and leaving the country. I can’t wait for us to finalize our plans.

In the meantime, or at least for the following few weeks, I shall continue as I have been doing for the past few months. But with a little more flickring and wardrobe remixing hopefully. I am sadly behind in uploading my photos and documenting my outfits.

That place can eat my poo!

It’s been a long time coming, but I finally have my weekends back! It is an exciting time to be me. :D

I’m not sure what I’ll be doing with this extra time. But I know I’ll be enjoying it very, very much.

Live free or Disgustingly Cute

You’re the first thing and last thing on my mind.
In your arms I feel sunshine.

Happy anniversary, sweetie! I love you. (Go Jabbawockeez?!)

See my vest

I would like to start documenting some of my outfits, but…

  1. I need to be wearing the full outfit, including shoes, which means I can only really take the photo by our entrance because we don’t wear shoes inside the apartment, but the lighting by the entrance is rather poor.
  2. It’s hard to take a photo of myself. I’d take one of my reflection, but the full-length mirror is situated by the door with the poor lighting. And Teh Boyfriend is usually gone by the time I’m fully ready for the camera.
  3. It’s too cold to take the photo outside without my big coat covering up the outfit.
  4. I’m usually in too much of a mad rush to get out the door to take the time and pose.

What am I going to do? My clothes cannot go unnoticed!

The calm before the storm

Looks like I get another week to myself before things start to get crazy again. I’m going to make sure I really savour this break. This will involve nothing particularly fancy; just healthy amounts of relaxation and activity that I won’t otherwise get to enjoy when I officially tackle the next few months. I just wish I could free up my weekends already, but as eager as I am, the timing is still not quite right. And in the end, I need to go by timing, not my id.
